Privacy Policy

Sejda Pdf ("the app", "we", "us") is an Android application for viewing and editing PDF documents. This policy covers the app published under the package name com.menyar.shop.

By installing and using Sejda Pdf you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

This is the part that matters most, so we will be unambiguous: we never upload, transmit, collect or store the documents you open in Sejda Pdf.

• PDFs you open are read directly from your device storage.
• All processing happens on-device using local libraries. No file content is sent over the internet by the app.
• Files you save are written to your own device, into a folder named SejdaPDF, or wherever you choose.
• When you use the Share feature, your file is passed to the app you pick (WhatsApp, Gmail, Drive, and so on). From that point, the receiving app's own privacy policy applies.
• Temporary working copies created while editing stay in the app's private storage and are removed by the system when no longer needed.

Because your documents are never sent to us, we cannot recover them, and we cannot disclose them to anyone — including if we were asked to.

We request the minimum set of permissions needed, and only for the features you use.

Sejda Pdf is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display banner, native, app-open and rewarded ads. Some features are unlocked by watching a rewarded ad — there is no paid subscription and we do not process payments.

Google AdMob may collect and process data to serve and measure ads, including your device's advertising identifier, coarse location derived from your IP address, device type and ad-interaction events. This collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own policies:

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which also lets you opt out of personalised advertising.

The app keeps a small amount of state locally. None of it is sent to us.

Clearing the app's data, or uninstalling it, removes all of this immediately.

• We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• We do not upload, read or store your documents.
• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
• We do not track your precise GPS location.
• We do not access your contacts, messages, call logs or microphone.

Sejda Pdf is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will act promptly.

Because your documents stay on your device and we hold no account data, you remain in direct control of your information at all times. You can:

• Delete any file you created, using your device's file manager.
• Clear all app data from Android Settings → Apps → Sejda Pdf → Storage.
• Reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android settings.
• Uninstall the app, which removes every trace of its local data.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a jurisdiction with comparable law (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data a party holds about you. For ad-related data, those requests are directed to Google using the links in section 04.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app or in the Play Store release notes. Continuing to use Sejda Pdf after an update means you accept the revised policy.
